The Finchley Games Club is 40! – the longest running board games club in London.

Long ago in the dim haze of history, a gathering took place at East Finchley Library, and the FGC came into being.

The year was 1986.

So to celebrate achieving forty years of fun, frolics, dice throwing and dobber pushing, surviving flood and pestilence along the way, on September 13th the FGC is holding a free Sunday Gaming Event.

We are in exactly the same place we have been for the last 36 years, the Old Finchleians Sports Club.

As ever, we are keeping the admin to a minimum, with a light theme of “Games From the 80’s”.

Come one, come all and bring your old games.

Former members especially welcome. (Surprise free gift for all current and former members.)
