5th March, the day Stalin died

Games Played:

On this day in 1953, Joseph Stalin died. As did John Adams in 1829, the last surviving HMS Bounty mutineer 1829. As to the games, quite a good crop and again we had some potential new members. I hope we made you feel welcome and that you will return.

After all the FGC keeps a lot of us sane.

FGC and CORVID 19

While no-one should panic, we have to be sensible. Here are the NHS guidelines to avoid catching or spreading the virus.

DO

wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
always wash your hands when you get home or into work
use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

DON'T

do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

(This is surprisingly difficult.)

FGC ON SUNDAY

Until further notice, this even is still going ahead.

10 hours of fun on Sunday March 22nd.

Starting at 12 noon.

The event is now posted on Facebook, so please let us know if you plan to attend.
