Hi Alex, I was being a little dramatic with the fight sequence, and it seemed more heroic for Tod to crown the goblin! (Varion was busy mending Michael to pay too much attention!) Spelling mistakes were waiting info from Dave, but I was impatient to get this on the website. (Details edited, and pending a small addition or two) Can someone add in next weeks installment, as I am playing in the Descent campaign, this week? :-) |

Today's session was confirmation of what a terrible D&D player I am. As much as I try and do all the Lawful Good stuff, there is Arthur Daley tearing his way out of my character. Although I denied it at the time, Nick and Alex were 100% right - in town I should have been doing religious stuff instead of hustling. Worse still, Humble is supposed to be a cleric-turned-paladin, not a lowlife-turned-paladin, but its not really working. I'll give it one last go, or else have to do a drastic background re-write. |

Shame Nick H couldn't make it - I thought he might like to take advantage of the opportunity to run Jon's character for a session: after complaining of being pushed around I thought he might enjoy the opportunity to get his own back! |

Many thanks for your excellent work again Varion! It occurs to me that you could show your journal to Tod to remind him of what takes place during our combats, as I'm sure you'll have also noticed how he seems to never remember afterwards - though maybe this is for some reason and it might be best not to meddle till we know more.
Two minor points: I noticed that in your account you have Tod knocking out the goblin who felled Michael, but Humble told me it was in fact Tod's pet lizard that struck the final blow! Also, you spelled the name of the town we are resting in as "Rendesford" but I heard this as "Restenford" (Resdenford?) - but this might just be me getting it confused with the name of another place I'm sure I've heard of somewhere before.
